FPO Awards

2012

Last month, we submitted a few recent projects to the For Print Only Awards, and we’re pleased as punch to announce that our name appears on the winner’s list three times! If you aren’t familiar with the FPO blog, check it out for a daily dose great of graphic design complimented by immaculate printing and production. Entries were judged based on the method by which they were printed or produced. The hosts themselves explain it here:

Organized by UnderConsideration, the FPO Awards is a judged competition that celebrates the best print work from around the world during 2011 – 2012 — a direct extension of the popular blog FPO: For Print Only. As a response to other award formulas, past and present, the FPO Awards strive to provide a competition that places as much importance on design and execution as it does toward production: Judges will be designers AND printers, winners will get to display their work AND a detalied account of all the production, and special awards will be given for Best of Show AND Sustainability as well as Radical Production.

Here are our winners:

The 2013 Letterpress Calendar, which celebrates the ubiquitous mustache by showcasing a different iconic flavor-saver each month, won in the letterpress category.

Our gorgeous Laser Cut Wrap was awarded in the laser-cutting category. We sell these lovelies in our online store so you can dress up your own invitations, wedding day menus, or stationery.

These darling letterpress greeting cards won honorable mention. Snag one (or the set of eight!) for your BFF and your sweetheart. An obvious choice for Valentine’s Day, but why wait?
