New Work: Beautiful Blooms

2011

Our relationship with Beautiful Blooms stretches back to 2008. Since that time we have covered a lot of ground together and watched as their team have some amazing success. We knew we had a really fun challenge ahead of us when we sat down last year to talk about a redesign for the company.

Beautiful Blooms Identity

We started with the understanding that the company has become known for their contemporary style. One that is setting trends and starting conversations in Philly and nationally. They needed a brand that didn’t say traditional, but fresh and forward-thinking. We looked to the Bauhaus for inspiration.

Beautiful Blooms Inspiration

We were drawn to the ideas that were so elemental in middle of the last century. Ideas that merged geometric form with nature. The philosophies that guided designers to let the form of the letters be the star, and celebrate a clean modern aesthetic. We looked at current brands built around design, to see how they could inspire us.

Beautiful Blooms -Inspiration

We settled on a logo and website design that was contemporary, modern and ultimately unique. We created the services section of the website to be a working mood board, showing the power of a tactile interface.
