About
Louella Court is the blogging home of Two Paperdolls, a letterpress and design house nestled into the western suburbs of Philadelphia. A decade ago we opened our first studio on Louella Court, a tiny little street in Wayne Pennsylvania. It is a street that will always live fondly in our memories. We are writers, designers, and pressmen. We are passionate about the stories we tell and the way we tell them. This blog is a window into our shop. Here we hope to pass along some inspiration, talk shop, and brag a little. If you have any suggestions or feedback let us know.
Director of Creative Services Amanda first came to the studio in search of invitations for her own wedding, and now works to orchestrate orders, manage production schedules, and lend support during all stages of our projects. After a few fun years living in downtown Philadelphia, this Eastern University graduate made the big move from city to suburbs to relax a little with the love of her life. They recently celebrated the birth of their lovely daughter Mila, the newest member of the TPD family!
Senior Designer After years of experience as an art director in the advertising world, Chris decided she was ready for a change of scenery. She joined the dolls in November of 2009 and has since made her mark designing smart logos, charming invitations and sleek website for some very happy clients. While away from the office, Chris has another full-time job as a zookeeper caring for her gaggle of pets at home.
Head of Production Crystal studied graphic design at Manhattan’s School of Visual Arts, and went on to do freelance work in New York and Pennsylvania. She joined Two Paperdolls as a production intern, and when January rolled around, we were pleased to hear that she would be sticking around for the long run. This heavenly hostess and karaoke queen is also known to entertain guests with perfectly plated hors d’oevres, which she is most likely to be found serving with Chloe, her acrobatic pup, perched on her shoulder.
Associate Creative Director Greg is a designer, writer, and coach living with his family in Germantown Philadelphia. He currently is responsible for three children, a dog, and a cat all under the age of three. Prior to Two Paperdolls he was a principal and creative director for Able Design. You can find his work on Whole Foods shelves, representing some of the Internet's most notorious personalities, and keeping tables level at your local diner. Follow Greg on twitter: @GregPAsh
Production Artist Since 2003, it's been Jenny’s job to make sure every Two Paperdolls product surpasses our client’s expectations, down to the very last crease or crystal. A creative writer, actor and singer, Jenny has always found a way to express her creative spirit and keep the production team in a steady groove with her famous playlists.

Director of Client Services As the face of our sales department for the past three years, Nicole is often the first person most clients speak with when beginning work with Two Paperdolls. A newlywed herself, she has much insight into the world of a bride-to-be and sorts through every detail to make sure our clients are thrilled with their beautiful invitations, stationery, and announcements. In her spare time, Nicole loves shopping for vintage treasures for her new home and whipping up delicious goodies in her kitchen, which are always a hit at the office!
Pressman Scott is the man behind the machine, and the skillful hands that print our letterpress work. When he’s not at the press, Scott might be found capturing a beautiful moment on film or rooting for Philly sports teams. He gets occasional help from Intern Stella (his golden retriever puppy,) who makes sure all pieces of scrap cardboard and paper at her eye level are meticulously chewed and slobbered on.
Owner + Creative Director Most know the Two Paperdolls owner as a pioneer: always on the go, constantly dreaming up new schemes, hopelessly addicted to her iphone and über-chic vests. Some know her maternal side a bit better, having seen her chase after her spirited son Landon, aka Mario, for hours on end. Still, there’s more to this Main Line mogul and stylish mama than meets the eye. At the heart of Two Paperdolls lies Vanessa’s infatuation with vintage designs and captivating patterns; she has always been inspired by exotic locales and never fears unfamiliar territory. A true creative spirit, Vanessa has always honored who she is—remaining faithful to her greatest dreams and passions.
Web Designer + Development The dolls’ resident tech ‘‘Wizard’’ came to the studio with a creative spark and a profound love of HTML. She has been with Two Paperdolls since July of 2009, creating exquisite websites for our clients. Whitney balances her ‘‘nerdy’’ side with fierce athletic competition, and while her rugby endeavors no longer take her around the globe, she stills plays hard with her team in West Chester.
